White Bolognese Sauce

A creamy and flavorful white bolognese sauce that combines turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delicious twist.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic, cooking until translucent.
  4. Stir in the chicken ham and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  7. Chop the reserved turkey bacon and add it back to the skillet along with the fresh parsley.
  8. Serve hot over your favorite pasta.

Notes

  • This sauce is great for pasta or as a filling for lasagna.
  • Can substitute chicken ham with regular ham if preferred.
