Thai Egg Rolls Recipe (Crispy Spring Rolls)

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, soy sauce, and garlic.
  2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper and place a few tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form the egg roll.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked shrimp or chicken to the filling.
  • Serve with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
