  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz, softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased bundt pan.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter, then pour the remaining cake batter on top.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and gently swirl them into the batter.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before inverting onto a plate.
