- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 2 cups seafood mix (shrimp, scallops, and fish)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 4 cups fish stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
- Add the onion and celery to the pot and sauté until soft.
- Stir in the potatoes and seafood mix, cooking for a few minutes.
- Pour in the fish stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Add the heavy cream, chopped bacon, and parsley; stir well and season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- For a spicier chowder, add some chopped jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
- This chowder can be made ahead of time and reheated.
