Healthy Twix Bars (Gluten-free) Homemade Recipe

A delicious and healthier alternative to traditional Twix bars that you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut oil, honey, and salt until a dough forms.
  3. Press the mixture into the baking dish evenly and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  4. Allow the base to cool, then spread caramel sauce over the top.
  5. Melt dark chocolate chips and stir in vanilla extract, then pour over the caramel layer.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until set, then cut into bars.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute almond flour with sunflower seed flour.
