A delicious and creamy roasted red pepper pasta sauce featuring turkey bacon for a delightful twist.

  • 2 cups roasted red peppers
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon and crumble it into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add roasted red peppers and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
