- 3 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork in the crockpot and add the salsa and lime juice on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Shred the pork and mix it with the juices in the crockpot before serving.
