- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 6 cups beef broth
- 2 cups lasagna noodles broken
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the meat to a slow cooker and add onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broken lasagna noodles.
- Stir in ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese just before serving.
- Top each bowl with grated Parmesan cheese.
