- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
