  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low, return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
