Ingredients

  • 1 pound butternut squash, peeled and diced
  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced butternut squash and cook until tender.
  4. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder to the squash. Stir well and simmer.
  5. Mix in the cooked pasta and spinach, and combine until the spinach wilts.
  6. Serve topped with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • This dish can be made with any pasta shape.
  • For added flavor, consider adding Parmesan cheese on top.
