  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, then mix in baking soda and salt.
  4. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  5. Stir in flour until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine ground cinnamon and brown sugar for the swirl.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the mixture.

  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
