Cheesy French onion meatballs and mushrooms

A delicious and savory dish combining cheesy French onion flavors with tender meatballs and mushrooms.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked.
  5. In a skillet, sauté the sliced mushrooms until tender.
  6. Combine the cooked meatballs and sautéed mushrooms in the skillet.
  7. Add the crumbled turkey bacon and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted.
