  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings
  • 2 tablespoons cherry liqueur (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the chocolate cake cubes in the bottom of a large trifle dish.
  2. Drizzle with cherry liqueur if using.
  3. Top with half of the cherry pie filling.
  4. Add a layer of whipped cream.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with chocolate shavings and additional cherries if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
