2 slices whole grain bread
2 large eggs
2 slices turkey bacon
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the turkey bacon in the air fryer for about 8 minutes until crispy.
While the bacon cooks, butter one side of each bread slice.
Place the unbuttered side on a cutting board and layer one slice of cheese, then the egg (cracked into a ring), the crispy bacon, and top with another slice of cheese.
Cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
Cook in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Feel free to add any vegetables you like, such as spinach or tomatoes.
For a spicier version, add some hot sauce.
