Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in the air fryer for about 8 minutes until crispy.
  3. While the bacon cooks, butter one side of each bread slice.
  4. Place the unbuttered side on a cutting board and layer one slice of cheese, then the egg (cracked into a ring), the crispy bacon, and top with another slice of cheese.
  5. Cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Feel free to add any vegetables you like, such as spinach or tomatoes.
  • For a spicier version, add some hot sauce.
